TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These General Conditions govern the legal relationship arising from the registration processes, acquisition of accreditations, and attendance at the III International Congress of Aeronautics and Space (CIAC 2026), organized by the Canary Islands Aerospace Cluster (hereinafter "the Organization"). By completing your registration, the user declares that they have read, understood, and expressly and unreservedly accepted these General Conditions.

1. Purpose and Scope of Application

The purpose of these General Conditions is to establish the rules governing participation in the III International Congress of Aeronautics and Space (CIAC 2026).

These conditions shall apply to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, institutional representatives, accredited media personnel, and any other person who participates in or accesses the Congress.

The Organization reserves the right to modify or update this document when necessary for organizational, operational reasons, or due to changes in applicable legislation.

2. Registration and Accreditation Process

• Nominal Character: All accreditations issued for CIAC 2026 are strictly personal and non-transferable.
• Identification: To collect the physical accreditation at the venue, it will be mandatory to present the registration receipt together with an official, valid identification document (National ID, Foreigner's ID, or Passport).
• Mandatory Use: The accreditation must be worn in a visible place at all times while on the congress premises. Security personnel may request identification of the holder at any time.
• Loss or Theft: In the event of loss or misplacement, re-issuance of the accreditation will be subject to identity verification and may involve administrative processing fees.

3. Conditions of Access to the Venue (ITER Headquarters)

The Institute of Technology and Renewable Energy (ITER) is a strategic technological facility. Therefore, access is subject to strict security regulations:

• Right of Admission: The Organization and ITER security staff reserve the right of admission, and may deny access or expel from the premises any person who fails to comply with these rules, disrupts the normal development of the Congress, or poses a risk to the safety of people or facilities.
• Prohibited Items: The entry of weapons, sharp objects, flammable substances, explosives, or any element capable of causing harm to persons or facilities is strictly prohibited.
• Inspections: Upon entering the premises, attendees agree to submit to preventive security checks of their belongings if required by authorized personnel.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be communicated in writing to info@ciac.org.es and will be subject to the following refund policy:

• Cancellations communicated in writing to info@ciac.org.es more than 60 days before the start of the congress: 100% refund (bank charges deducted).
• Cancellations communicated between 59 and 30 days before the event: 50% refund of the amount paid.
• Cancellations with less than 30 days notice: No refund will be given, except in documented cases of extreme force majeure (serious illness or government mobility restrictions).

5. Programme Modifications

The Organization makes its best efforts to guarantee the fulfilment of the published scientific and commercial programme. However, it reserves the right to modify schedules, alter the order of sessions, or substitute speakers due to force majeure, last-minute unavailability, or operational logistical contingencies. These alterations shall not entitle the attendee to any claim or refund of the accreditation fee.

6. Intellectual Property and Copyright

All materials, presentations, papers, and content displayed during CIAC 2026 are protected by intellectual property laws.

• Prohibition of Recording: Video recording, live streaming, or full audio capture of the presentations is not permitted without the express, prior, and written authorization of the Organization and the affected speaker.
• Promotional Material: Photographs or short clips captured by attendees for personal use or for sharing on social networks will be allowed, provided they do not infringe intellectual property rights, confidentiality agreements, third-party rights, or the rights to honour, privacy, or one's own image.

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These General Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law. For the resolution of any controversy, dispute, or discrepancy that may arise from the interpretation or execution of this contract, the parties agree to expressly submit to the jurisdiction and competence of the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
